My name is Ana Cortes and I’m a licensed educator in the state of IL. I graduated from DePaul University in 2018 with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I’m a proficient bilingual speaker and writer in English and Spanish. I’ve been working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, in different areas and academic subjects. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, reading, swimming, playing chess, and going on walks with my dog. My dream is to start a micro-school in the near future, where students will be able to collaborate together and think critically to solve real world problems, pursue their passions, acquire critical life skills, and be immersed in project-based learning.
